Why doesn't my hearing aid work with my telephone? 


Hearing Aids will work with a telephone if they have a telecoil and the telephone being used has telecoil compatibility. If you don't know if your phone is telecoil compatible you must check with the telephone manufacturer.

You can make any phone telecoil compatible with a portable device called a Williams Sound TELEMAX phone coupler. This will make any telephone (i.e. Cell phone, cordless phone) compatible with a telecoil in a hearing aid. This device is about $250.
